I was talking with another person on the network about how these "attacks" against us seem to be getting closer and closer to home.

I thought it'd be nice to learn how to use a gun for self-protection. Ended up earning the abilities to use a rifle while we were at the firing range. So now I know how to use one but lack the gun itself.

Hey, at least you've got one, man. I still don't have one.

I know a few people you can buy one from, too, that'll give you a good deal. And yeah, sure. I just wrapped up a case, so the next week or so will be all paperwork and reports involving it. I can always use a break from those.

Anyway, thanks in advance for the help, and fair warning: I'm probably going to ask you to just come with me to purchase this thing. I might know how to use a gun now, but I'm not entirely sure I won't get myself ripped off for something I don't need.

No problem, man, I don't mind coming along. I've never dealt in rifles before, but I've bought a few handguns from them.

Just a lot of memories. I guess they're memories, anyway. And being able to tell when people aren't human. Sort of.

I'm a homicide detective, I'm pretty much always on call. But theoretically I have weekends and weeknights free, so any time then.
