"Not exactly an option right now, is it?" Melissa sighs, exasperated. In a way, it's good that Karl's not around- she has some time to sort things out. Of course, she has no idea when he might be back, which leaves her with this hanging over her head until he does. So she's got to do at least a portion of this on her own, which she doesn't like one bit.
