Wow, uh... Is the problem physical, or is it the computer part? I can take a look, but microchips and wires isn't really my forte.

I'm pretty sure it's just physical. There's wires, but I don't think it has anything to do with computer chips.

If that's the case, I miiight be able to help, but that's a big might. I could provide a diagnosis, maybe.

[Well, usually it's more murders and junk, but mysteries is a better way to put it.]

Though the 'junk' usually involves 'lots of paperwork after things are solved.'

That's rough. One good thing about the Keep is paperwork is nonexistent.

That's pretty much exactly what a friend of mine told me. I should consider it a vacation.

This would be a pretty nice vacation spot if we could, y'know. Leave.

A pretty significant downside. That, and the lack of good beer. Or anything like technology.

There's some good tobacco, I guess, and other simple pleasures like that.

There's a ton of other herbs or whatever in the apothecary. Haven't gone through them, though.

Really? I'll have to give them a look, then. I've got a couple of friends interested in that kind of stuff.

Yeah, they're all up in Marigold's Tower. There's a lot of really rare stuff, and I have noooo idea where they got it. It's super cool.

["Rare" to him means things like roses and daisies. Hey, man, they're all gone.]

Rare? In that case, I might have to bring my friend with me. I'll have no idea what it is.

[...yeah, Nick can manage those, at least. He's going to be disappointed in this treasure hunt for rare herbs, man.]

Yeah! Well, I mean, what's rare to me probably isn't very rare to you. But still.

[Nick just laughs a little. Oddly enough, he's heard something like that insistence before. Coming from Portland, some people consider it practically a sin if you don't have your own personal garden.]

Relax, man, I know you can like plants even if you don't know anything about them.
